Restoration is a sophisticated and exciting part of our work. Knowing the history of clothing and costumes is absolutely essential to the art of restoration, and our work reflects this. Above all, restoration demands passion and patience – qualities we certainly possess as demonstrated by our clientele.
Dealers and private collectors from different countries, as well as world-renowned museums, come to Silhouettes & Profiles with pieces of singular beauty requiring undivided attention and delicate workmanship. Our works have been included in the Chanel and Poiret exhibitions in New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as the Schiaparelli exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
