Restoration is a sophisticated and exciting part of our work. Knowing the history of clothing and costumes is absolutely essential to the art of restoration, and our work reflects this. Our works have been included in the Chanel and Poiret exhibitions in New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as the Schiaparelli exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Sculptural Chic, French. 1905

A beaded lantern bag of the 1900’s echoed the handkerchief hem of teadance gowns. It floats at the wrist and folds perfectly flat.

Poiret exhibition - Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City

Evening Gown, CA. 1912

This gown by famous French designer, Paul Poiret, was purchased in 2005 by Metropolitan Museum of Art and, along with other Poiret’s creations, formed the core of “Poiret: King of Fasion” exhibition.

The gown was restored from pieces by Silhouettes & Profiles.
